This video guitar lesson goes over how to play the song “Everlong” by, Foo Fighters. We recommend you blow it up and make it full screen on your monitor so it is easy to see the chord diagrams that we put on the video for you. Good luck and if you like it please remember to share it with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or anything really… all will be much appreciated.

So pretty much that lesson was way longer than what we expected it to be so I hope you were able to hang in there through the whole lesson. There are many lessons on the internet that teach you how to play Everlong by the Foo Fighters but I don’t think you’ll find one that goes into so much detail and depth like the one here on Pick Strum Play.

Everlong by Foo Fighters Guitar Lesson on Pick Strum Play

My favorite part of the song is the bridge that is right before the singing part. When you need to stretch your index finger down about 5 frets. It’s hard to play but with practice you’ll be able to get the hang of it.

As you can see there’s Jeff making that chord! With practice you can too.

Don’t let yourself get too worried about this song, it really is not too hard – it is only a few chords. The tricky part is getting the rhythm and strumming patterns down. Once you get that you’ll learn it in no time. We tried our best to lay this out for you in the easiest way possible so you can learn it fast.

If you found this video helpful please share it with you friends and help us get the word out that we are teaching guitar for free in HD.
